We aim to save lives - everywhere

Leading in Road Safety, and in global Auditors training and professional certification

ASEVI is a global organization dedicated to save lives through our work in training and education and by providing technical assistance in road safety, audit standards, membership services for RS Auditors and providing technical assistance in infrastructure financing.

We started as the Association for Road Safety Auditors in Spain in 2009 in response to the need to implement better standards in training and in audit reports. By 2019 we agreed with the UK and Portugal associations to create a global standard for Auditors.

Since 2020 we started providing some technical assistance to help in project implementation and by 2025 we expanded our footprint founding a US based entity to provide more needed capacity development, technical assistance and help in the mobilization of public and private financing not only for road safety but for transport, mobility and to help the global south access more investments to advance better public services.

In 2024 we worked with IRF Official to create a global registry to facilitate the access and accreditation of auditors. We aim to expand this expertise worldwide to help save lives.

ASEVI is both, an Association under Spanish Law and an non-profit organization under US law.

Ethical Governance

Operating under EU and US law, ASEVI maintains a strict Conflict of Interest Policy to ensure that personal, financial, or institutional interests never compromise our mission, partner´s or donor trust.

Legal Structure

ASEVI operates through two distinct legal entities to ensure compliance and transparency. Both non-profit organizations:

The Asociación de Auditores de Seguridad Vial – ASEVI, or Association of Road Safety Auditors. Established, under the Organic Law 1/2002 of the Kingdom of Spain, as a association in 2009.
ASEVI Global Inc, incorporated in the United States of America under the Florida Department of State as a non-profit corporation in 2025; and organized exclusively for the charitable, educational and scientific purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the internal Revenue Code.

This dual structure allows ASEVI to work effectively across regions, delivering its charitable, educational and membership purposes while adhering to both EU and US regulatory frameworks.
